Happy New Year!!!

December 2011 was quite a month! We traveled to Bartlesville OK to pick up the paintings from the "Artfest" show at Grace Community Church. It was a very good show. I really recommend it for next year. Later in December while painting two pictures for a show at City Arts in Wichita, I began to feel sick. My usual coughing spells got much worse to the point I WAS ROBBED! I was robbed of our family Christmas celebration! I spent all of Christmas Day in bed, asleep. The plan was to go to my number two daughter's home. My wife and everyone else went. I think I had an asthmatic infection rather than the flu. It took a while to get over.  The year and month ended even more sadly with the passing of my wife's mother on December 29th. She was eighty-six and we found out in October she had cancer so it was not unexpected, but she is missed. I did get my paintings done enough to get them into the show at City Arts. They will be shown in the following posts.
