Last Friday, February 3, 2012 was the reception for a new show called "A Family Affair" held at Art Room 114 at 114 N. Main, Eldorado Kansas.As you can see from the photos, there was quite a crowd. A small group played music and my wife and I got to meet a lot of people.
The show featured at least two artists from the same family. My daughter also entered a charcoal sketch, a landscape into the show. Most people don't know the she is a great artist. Her work is primarily in pencil and charcoal. Unfortunately, she had to work and missed the opening of the show. The show will be continuing until March 31st. If you live nearby or get a chance to visit Eldorado, take a few minutes to stop by. The quality of the artwork is wonderful and you are sure to enjoy your visit.
